About This Evening

CVNE is one of Rioja's founding houses, and their lineup from Crianza through Gran Reserva is the clearest possible lesson in what aging actually does to wine. Same Tempranillo, same vineyards — but 12 months in oak produces something completely different from 24, and Gran Reserva is different still. We'll taste the full spectrum side by side, including a rare look at what Rioja white wine can do and a pour from CVNE's iconic Imperial label. This is the masterclass on oak, time, and transformation.

What You'll Taste

·  Cune Blanco — Crisp Viura white with citrus and mineral finish — yes, Rioja makes whites

·  Cune Crianza — Bright cherry and vanilla, 12 months in oak, the everyday benchmark

·  Cune Reserva — Deeper and more complex, cedar and dried herbs, 18 months in barrel

·  Cune Gran Reserva — Leather, tobacco, and spice — minimum 5 years aging, including 2 in oak

·  Imperial or Viña Real — CVNE's prestige label: silky, layered, and built for the cellar
